Consivo, one of the Nordic region’s fastest growing players in the grocery trade and foodservice, today announces that CEO Edvard Björkenheim has decided to leave his role after three years. Under his leadership, the company has established a new Nordic strategic platform and strengthened the Group’s structure. The recruitment of a new CEO will begin immediately, and Edvard will remain in the role until a successor is in place.
“Through his fine leadership, Edvard has played a central role in professionalizing the Consivo Group. The Group has today synchronized offerings in all Nordic markets, established a strong Commercial Excellence culture and strengthened its long-term prospects for growth. We would like to extend a warm thank you to Edvard for his efforts and wish him all the best in the future,” says Simon Hallqvist, Chairman of the Board of Consivo.

Consivo well positioned for the next phase
Consivo is now entering the next phase of Nordic expansion with a clear focus on profitable growth, operational excellence and continued strategic development. The priorities include building up the distribution offering in the Swedish grocery trade, deepening Nordic synergies while maintaining strong local identities, as well as continuing to integrate completed acquisitions and identify new growth opportunities. The Group has clear targets for growth, both organically and through acquisitions, to reach SEK 3 billion by 2028 while maintaining profitability.
“The next phase will require both solid industry experience, broad networks and the energy to become Nordic FMCG’s dream partner,” concludes Simon Hallqvist.
